"I got called 'pretty' today! Well actually the full statement was 'You're pretty annoying' but I only focus on positive things." I thought this was cute and I do think we all need to focus on the positive. I was watching a doctor talk about the new diet pills/injections that people are using now for weight loss and how dangerous it is. Unfortunately some people would rather stay on it and risk their health than be depressed about their size.
Bob Marley said, "the most beautiful curve on a woman's body is her smile." I think a woman and a man's attractiveness comes, first, from peace and joy which brings a confidence! God—the Author of Truth—made you! Psalm 139: 13, "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb." He is our source of truth and He says we are wonderfully made! Made in His image and created for a purpose. When I was going through treatment and surgeries I said this verse out loud to myself every day. At first it was hard to do but God showed me how wonderful it was. Psalm 139: 14, "I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful..."
We are God's masterpiece. Ephesians 2: 10, "For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." He had plans for you and I before we were born! Things He wants just us to do! God knows how and why He made us and it is always a good plan. Jeremiah 29: 11, "'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'" Want to feel better about yourself? Read His Word and trust His Truth about who you are to Him! You are princes and princesses! Read Psalm 139: 13-14 again. "I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well." Have you ever noticed, "I know that full well"? We need to know it full well!
