He Refreshes My Soul 5/5

This week I have been working on my spiritual health which begins with me being still. This week I have worked on knowing, trusting and believing that God IS God! This time being still in His presence has refreshed my soul! Thankfully, last November, God chose my family's vacation date for this week. I have enjoyed writing and sitting on the beach soaking on the Son!

After four days of studying Psalm 46: 10 I am feeling refreshed. "Be still and know that I am God." The definition of refresh is to "give new strength or energy to; reinvigorate." This week has been a gift of refreshment from God. I needed to remember that He IS GOD. Last week was so incredibly hard but that made me lean more on Him. I am also reminded of Paul's words to Corinth. 2 Corinthians 12: 10, "That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong."

Psalm 23: 1-3, "The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul." He refreshes my soul. Again, this is why we thank Him for the hard times because that is when we grow. 1 Thessalonians 5:18, "give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus." He is worthy of my love and adoration, my praise and my worship!
