Believing and Receiving

I do not say something out loud until I am ready. I will carry a thought around and just not want to share. I sometimes say it is just a secret between God and I but if I am honest it is my unbelief that keeps me from sharing. I have realized over the last year that every time I finally wrote or shared with others, I received the blessing. One example is my ministry. I'm afraid it sounds dumb to others to think I could do this. I can't but God can and that is what I had to surrender and submit to. And that is when I believed it could happen and that is when it did happen. Something tangible may not have happened that minute but I knew, without a shadow of a doubt, that it would.
We can hear God's Word and it not really register but when we see the truth of God's Word for ourselves and believe it in our heart, then faith comes. Our faith enables us to receive. You can quote a scripture all day but until you believe it there is no faith. Mark 11: 24, "Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours." And of course, this must align with God's will. Mark 9: 23, "Jesus said, 'Everything is possible for one who believes.' Our believing affects our receiving. Our faith affects our receiving.
"My Kingdom is not about earning and deserving, it is about believing and receiving."
