You Thrill Me!

As I read my One Year Bible I found another verse I never remember reading. Psalm 92: 4, "You thrill me, Lord, with all you have done for me! I sing for joy because of what you have done." People often ask how I can write so often and I had wondered, before I committed to God, the same thing. But, I always have something to share about Him! New things every day, every hour! My mind is constantly writing, even during the night.

I think the more you look at your blessings, the more you see. And what a blessing that is in a world like this! When I think about what God has done for me, just in the last six months, I am blown away! How could I not praise Him or share with others? Sometimes I see these things in my life, reading His Word or just being in Creation. His displays in creation and thinking of what all He is capable of doing overwhelms me. Thinking about all of His goodness, love, mercy, grace and generosity is overwhelming. The more we see this the more we feel grateful and our faith grows. Psalm 147: 11, "The Lord takes pleasure in those who fear Him, in those who hope in His mercy." He loves it when we are thrilled with Him!

Deuteronomy 32: 3-4, "For I proclaim the name of the Lord: Ascribe greatness to our God. He is the Rock, His work is perfect; For all His ways are justice, A God of truth and without injustice; Righteous and upright is He." We find happiness praising God! "You thrill me, Lord, with all You have done for me!"

"The daily practice of the discipline of gratitude is the way to daily practice the delight of God." Ann Voskamp
