John 21: 10-11, "Jesus said to them, 'Bring some of the fish you have just caught.' So Simon Peter climbed back into the boat and dragged the net ashore. It was full of large fish, 153, but even with so many the net was not torn." I had never thought about this verse, in fact, I tend to skim right over it. "It was full of large fish, 153,..." Why is the exact number in there? Maybe to show us how Jesus pays attention to the details in our life. Psalm 37: 23, "He delights in every detail of their lives."

Have you ever thought about the fact that God knows the number of hairs on our head? That is harder for some than others but it also changes. Matthew 10: 30, "And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered." Jesus wants to be part of our everyday life. He wants to help us, have breakfast with us, spend time with us and be our friend. He is not just our emergency contact, He is our God, our friend and our companion. We can do nothing on our own. John 5: 30, "By myself I can do nothing; I judge only as I hear, and my judgment is just, for I seek not to please myself but him who sent me."

Verse 12, "Jesus said to them, 'Come and have breakfast.'” Can you imagine? The King of Kings cooked their breakfast! He wants to have breakfast with us too, every day! The King of Kings, the Lord of Lord wants to have breakfast with you! Join Him today!
