Who Are You - Really

David Jeremiah said we only love God as much as we love the person we like the least. Ouch! We're all broken and we all have baggage. I began thinking, who are we, really? Who are we on the inside? Not when we're dressed up to go to church. Who are we when someone offends us? Who are we when we get cut off in traffic? Let's be excellent for God because of all He's done for us.

In His mercy, God allowed me to see that there was nothing I could do to make Him love me any more or less than He already did. 1 John 3: 1, “See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.” What a tremendous gift this is to be known as children of God! This amazing title belongs to us.

Who are you? It is your choice. Free will - it is up to you. You decide if you wish to accept this offer, which is freely given to you. If you choose to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior and ask to be forgiven then that very moment, of your belief, you become a child of God! Who do you want to be?
