This weekend my college suite mates and I had our first, annual, girls weekend! What a great time we had reminiscing and making new memories! I spent a little while in the ocean by myself and did a lot of thinking. I am proud of how we all turned out. We've come a long way, girls! I believe God was smiling down on us, saying, those are my girls! Even though we may have gotten off track, we, all, got back on the right track. And we are His girls! 1 John 3: 1, "See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!"

I thought of the mistakes I made during those years and I am thankful that I do not carry that shame and guilt. I can go with these friends and none of us feel judged because we know we are all new creations. 2 Corinthians 5: 17, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!" We now discuss our faith and we can learn from each other. Proverbs 27: 17, "As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend."

If you repent and turn from your sin and ask forgiveness, you are forgiven. Acts 3: 19, "Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord..." And with that forgiveness, God forgets! Hebrews 8: 12, "For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more." I am so grateful for God's grace and mercy! I thank God for the gift of friendship and the time spent together! Proverbs 27: 9, "A sweet friendship refreshes the soul."
