We Messed Up, Now Moving On
"If you think you've blown God's plan for your life, rest in this. You, my beautiful friend, are not that powerful! Every day is a precious gift from God bringing new grace and new opportunities. The Lord has given us a new day!"
It doesn't matter what happened yesterday, that cannot be changed. I love the saying, not all storms come to disrupt your life, some come to clear your path. And remember God can bring good from bad things, for those who love Him. Romans 8: 28, "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."
If we want a better life then we have to change how we spend our days. I like the post, "Life has no remote. Get up and change it yourself." That is so true. What does God's Word tell us about today? Psalm 118: 24, "This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice today and be glad in it." "Let us rejoice and be glad in it.” We are in control of what thoughts we allow into our mind. We must be quick to cast out negative thoughts, which is hard, and be vigilant to focus on what is good. Negative thoughts can cloud our judgment!
Remember, we can never repeat this hour or this day. Let's don't waste time looking back or waste time looking ahead. God is in the present so let's rejoice in the here and now.
