The Good From The Bad

Mike and I were victims of an embezzlement case. This was one of the hardest lessons in forgiveness for me. I had to forgive over and over - every time I learned a new bit of information. I could not let bitterness take over. It is very humbling to think that in God's eyes this person had done nothing worse than I have done!

Romans 8: 28, "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." God brought so many blessings out of this negative and hurtful situation. We struggled financially, spiritually and emotionally and it made us and our marriage stronger spiritually and emotionally. We know things could have been a lot worse but God kept our business going - in a very bad economy.

There was an unbeliever in the workplace that watched how we handled this. During this time we became friends and I know it was a God thing. This person made the decision for Jesus to be their Lord and Savior. For generations to come, their home will be a Christian home! God's child had returned. Luke 15: 6, "...Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep."
