The Devil Is A Believer

"The devil is a believer, but he is not a Christian. Know the difference." A believer knows about Jesus. A Christian knows Jesus as his or her Lord and Savior and has a personal relationship with Him through repentance and faith.

Our journey through this fallen world has many dangerous pitfalls, slippery slopes and dark people trying to destroy our relationship with Jesus! Psalm 119: 105, "Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path." This is a promise that God will guide us through the darkness.

Along with the outside world being dark, our thoughts can be dark thinking of our failures and weaknesses. Scripture is how we can get into a right relationship with God if we have gotten off the path of peace.

So why do some people choose not to believe in Jesus? Because their understanding has been blinded by Satan. God's Light can restore your sight! I didn't accept Jesus sooner because I didn't really understand the Gospel. I had heard the Gospel over and over and one day, some particular truth, spoke to me. I finally got it! Psalm 119: 130, "The unfolding of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple." I become enlightened! I was blind but now I see.

1 You would never choose hell over heaven! So why hasn't someone chosen Jesus? Because his mind has been blinded by Satan. In order for the sinner to be born again the blinders must be removed. When the light enters, they will see Jesus! Be a light for Jesus! Matthew 5: 16, "...let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."
