God promised us beauty for ashes. Isaiah 61: 3, "To console those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes..." If we move forward, from self pity, He will give us double for our trouble. Isaiah 61: 7, "Instead of your shame you will receive a double portion..." We can be confident of this! We have royal blood running through our veins. I am a child of God! I am valuable. I am loved and I am worthy.

When we are going through a tough time and feeling weak, remember that is when we are strong. 2 Corinthians 12:9-10, "But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.'" It doesn't say let the weak have pity parties. When we are weak and lean on God - that is when we are strong!

Look for the blessings - they are always there! Live life! Enjoy life! God wants us to have abundant life. John 10: 10, "The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly." He wants us to have a super abundant life with the fullness of joy and strength for spirit, soul, and body. We can have joy knowing that He is in charge no matter what comes our way. No matter what you have going on think about how you want to be - not how you are. Claim it! Work on trusting God and growing your faith! Believe in what you have not seen!
