Satan Has A Plan For Your Life

God isn't the only one who has a plan for our life. John 10: 10 says, "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." No matter what age or stage we are in life we all have the same two opposing plans for our life. Satan, whose plan is to steal, kill and destroy your life. And Jesus' plan is to give life, life to the full! Who do you choose to guide your life? It is your choice and Scripture tells us we cannot sit on the fence - we have to choose. Revelation 3: 16, "So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth."
"Satan's strategy is simple, make sin look normal and make righteousness look weird." I think back to the commercials that embarrassed my aunt when I had a "gentleman friend" over, as she called him. Then the commercials when my girls were little - I didn't want them to see the commercials. Even a shampoo commercial! Now, I am blown away at what is accepted. It becomes normal along with the ugly talk. I may not be able to do anything about it but I can make my own decisions as to who I choose to follow. God tells me in Jeremiah 29: 11, "'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'"
My friend had a lot of bad things happen and was asked why do you think bad things keep happening to you? Without hesitation, she said, "the devil don't mess with those he's already got!" If Satan is attacking you, that is spiritual warfare and he doesn't like what you are doing. If I am trying to do something for God, Satan is going to attack! Lately I laugh and say, "I know that is you, Satan and I know why you're worried! I choose Jesus and He has already won the victory!" Who do you choose to guide your life?
