Have you ever noticed a flower in a vase that starts to wilt? It looks droopy. The truth is the flower is thirsty and it just needs water. Once you water it you begin to see it stand back up like it was intended. Like the flower, when the mundanes of everyday life make us wilt and droop, we just need water. When we realize we are thirsty and go to the Living Water we begin to stand tall and firm in our beliefs.

Our church is getting ready to have revival. What is a revival? According to the dictionary, revival is an improvement in the condition or strength of something. A revival speaks of something dying and needs to be brought back to life! Do you need to be renewed? Psalm 85: 6, “Will you not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you?” We must repent and get our hearts ready. Psalm 51: 10, “Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.”

When we take the time to go and spend time with God, we are always blessed. I get excited for revival because I love the speakers and you can feel the presence of the Holy Spirit! Acts 4: 30-31, “‘Stretch out your hand to heal and perform signs and wonders through the name of your holy servant Jesus.’ After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.”
