"Absolutely gotta share this with you after just reading your weekly devotional letter . Two years ago, my son was declared legally blind - after a year of begging, I have a lady from NC SERVICES for BLIND that comes to the house & works with him on navigational skills - he gets lost in our house. I could not settle for this & have researched for a long time & finally discovered that traumatic brain injury people need to see a neuro-ophthalmologist specializing in low vision for TBI - I found one- took him to Duke - his left eye is the only good eye he has & it turns all the way in to his nose - anyway I prayed, prayed & prayed & sweet Jesus has answered - we go back to Duke 1/03/22 for first surgery restoring vision & 2-3 weeks later go back to have his eye re-positioned! You tell anyone you come in contact with that are questioning JESUS CHRIST to call me ! Oh, my word, I can feel Becky’s tear drops!"
This is from a dear friend of mine who gave me my first job at 15. His wife, Becky, is in Heaven. When I asked if I could share this, his reply was, "Oh, but, of course! Praise GOD!" Psalm 8: 1-2, "Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory in the heavens. Through the praise of children and infants you have established a stronghold against your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger." There is power in praise. If you praise God, you will triumph. Satan does not want to be around worship and praising of God!
Praise God when you wake up, on your way to work, at lunch, in the afternoon, on the way home, outside in His Creation, during the sunset, in the evening, at bedtime. Praise Him, especially, if you don't feel like praising! Praise Him when you are tired. Praise Him when you are burdened. Praise Him when you’re sick of praising. This is how you break the chains holding you. This is how you put your faith into action!
Share what Jesus has done for you! It is your story and no one else can tell it. If Christ has done great things for you, you have the privilege of sharing that good news with others. Someone needs to hear your story! Luke 8: 39, ''Return home and tell how much God has done for you.' So the man went away and told all over town how much Jesus had done for him." Sharing your blessing may bring hope to others!
