Missionary In A Box

Anyone can help with Operation Christmas Child through many churches! I want to share a story and a letter from recipients! “The Samaritan's Purse project Operation Christmas Child collects shoe box gifts filled with fun toys, school supplies, and personal care items—and delivers them to children in need around the world to demonstrate God's love in a tangible way.”

“The lady asked the young girl what she would like in her shoe box. The young girl answered, ‘something purple.’ The lady thought, ‘what are the chances of that?’ In a little while you could hear the shrieks of joy coming from the children opening a present for the first time in their life! The lady ran to find the little girl to see what she had gotten. When the little girl took the lid off everything in her box was purple! As the lady said, ‘if God doesn’t have His hand in this, who does?!’ Numbers 23: 23, “See what God has done!”

“Greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus, my name is peter Gideon from Bauchi state Nigeria . On the 1st of April 2023 two of my kids came home with two boxes filled with fascinating gifts in one of the boxes i saw the message you wrote…I kept wondering how some kindhearted women will just decide to show love to kids thousand miles away to be honest i was touched by your kindness and i want to say thank you for the wonderful gifts my kids are grateful may God Almighty continue to bless you.lastly i want to let you know that i will like to be of service to you on a voluntary status when the needs arise am 37 yrs old a social worker currently am a masters degree holder in sociology am married with 4 kids...we want to appreciate you for the love of Christ you shared with us…May God Bless You bountifully in Jesus name amen…Our prayer is that one day we shall meet with the Lord Jesus Christ... You may not be able to go be a missionary but you can fill a shoebox!
