Love That Salt Water!

A few weeks ago, after church I got to go on the boat and got in the chilly water in October! I loved every minute of it! The beach makes me feel peace because I am in God's creation. I am in awe at His wonders - the waves, the tides, the shells, the dolphin, the beautiful sunsets, the breeze and the crystal clear cool water! He does so much for us and I was reminded.

We can talk to God any time of day or night about anything at all. He is always there, through thick and thin, and He is always able to help us. He will never leave us. Hebrews 13: 5, "...For God has said, “I will never, never fail you nor forsake you." He can take our burdens from us which relieves us of stress causing us to be healthier. Psalm 55: 22, "Give your burdens to the Lord. He will carry them. He will not permit the godly to slip or fall."

This gift is freely given - Jesus paid the price. John 3: 16, "For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son so that anyone who believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." And He will give you rest! Matthew 11: 28-30, "Come to me and I will give you rest—all of you who work so hard beneath a heavy yoke. Wear my yoke—for it fits perfectly—and let me teach you; for I am gentle and humble, and you shall find rest for your souls; for I give you only light burdens."

"Prayer is the place where burdens change shoulders. We give our burdens to God and He gives us His peace!"

There are other times that we feel raw, tired and weary. During most of those times we put on that smile and kept doing life. We are trying to get ahead at work. Trying to get things done at home.
