I heard Elton John's, "I'm Still Standing" song the other day. "And did you think this fool could never win? Well, look at me, I'm a-comin' back again. I got a taste of love in a simple way." When I heard that line I thought I've gotten a taste of love in a simple way. Jesus' love is simple - just pure, unconditional love! No one will ever love us more or better than Him! We can not earn - we just have to accept it. Pure and simple!

I saw this post recently. "She doesn't look like what she's been through. She's fought thousands of battles and is still standing. She's cried millions of tears and is still smiling. She's survived all that was meant to kill her and is still breathing. She is a Warrior - not because of who she is but because of Who He is within her and all her battles belong to the Lord!" "She" loves Jesus and "she" knows He loves her! Matthew 22: 36-37, "'Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?' Jesus replied: 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.'"

1 John 4:19 says, “We love, because He first loved us.” That is why we love Him. Through Jesus Christ and what He did for us on the cross, we can finally understand that the way to know God is to know Jesus. Our lives are transformed and then we WANT to love God because we truly see that He first loved us! He loves us even though we paid nothing and he paid it all. He loves us enough to give us chance after chance, time after time. The more we fall in love with Him the more aware we are of His unfathomable love! Jesus does love me and I do know this!
