On the day of Pentecost, Peter preached Joel 2: 28-29, “And it shall come to pass afterward, That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions. And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days.” This is a prophetic Word given by Joel and then confirmed by Peter saying the time is now. If we believe the gifts of the Spirit are still active and real, then God is still giving dreams and visions to His people and we need to concentrate on being a part of God’s dream.
I believe God has a plan for you and I, no matter how young or old we are.. "If you ain’t dead, you ain’t done!” If I allow God, He aligns my will with His and the seeds He has planted become my passion and dream. Jeremiah 1:5, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.” All of a sudden I have a desire of the heart that aligns with God's will and as my friend, Pastor Andy, says, "that is your sweet spot."
I had been chatting with God a lot about my dream knowing He has been working on it all my life and before. I can now see His work in the last 30 years. When I finally got on the same page with Him, I began waiting and watching, Every day I thanked Him for what He was doing and told Him I trust Him. This past year He brought this dream to fruition. It came in the form of a ministry that I would start to encourage others through speaking, conferences and retreats. He brought this to the girl who was to scared to speak in front of people (and will still only do if I feel called by Him)! He brought it to someone full of sin! He brought it to someone who ran from her fear for thirty years! But our God is Good and He never gives up on us! Never give up, God never gives up on us!
