It Is The Lord!

Peter and his two buddies went fishing all night and caught nothing. John 21: 3, "'I’m going out to fish,' Simon Peter told them, and they said, 'We’ll go with you.' So they went out and got into the boat, but that night they caught nothing.'"

Verse 4, "Early in the morning, Jesus stood on the shore, but the disciples did not realize that it was Jesus." They did not see Jesus! How many times do we not see Jesus? Sometimes it is later that we realize He was there and sometimes we never give Him a thought! Again, I am not picking on the disciples because we know the rest of the story, they didn't. They walked with God physically but I think they had moved on, just like us!

Verses 6-7, "He said, “'Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some.' When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish. Then the disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, 'It is the Lord!'” They saw the miracle. That is like me! Sometimes until we see the big "catch" (healing, job, restored relationship, financial break, etc) we don't realize "it is the Lord!" Apart from Him we can do nothing!

Let's ask God to not let us miss what He is doing in our life!
