If a southern woman says, "what did you say?" she isn't asking you to repeat it. She's asking if you're good with Jesus.....cause you're about to meet Him!
Jesus' followers made sure they introduced their friends to Jesus. John, the baptizer, learned from God that Jesus was the promised Savior. He shared with two of the disciples, Andrew and another person. John had been appointed to prepare for the coming of Jesus, so when Jesus walked by, he said, “Look, the Lamb of God!” so others knew to follow Him!
After Andrew spent time with Jesus, he found his brother, Simon, and told him. John 1: 41, "The first thing Andrew did was to find his brother Simon and tell him, “We have found the Messiah (that is, the Christ)." They had been waiting for the Savior so he introduced Simon to Jesus. John 1: 43, "The next day Jesus decided to leave for Galilee. Finding Philip, he said to him, 'Follow me.'” Philip told his friend, Nathanael, that Jesus was the Savior who they had been waiting for. Philip urged him to, “Come and see.” John 1: 46.
Jesus told us evangelism is our responsibility. Mark 16: 15, "He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation." He also made it clear that if people are headed for hell and we don't share the good news with them, we're responsible. He puts people in our lives for a reason. Do your part to help reap a harvest, and trust God to do His part. The more you share, the more you receive to share.
"If you had the cure to cancer wouldn't you share it? You have the cure to death! Get out there and share it!"
