I've Been Changed

One of our nights of revival began with, “There is Power in The Blood”. “There’s power in the blood!’ We know it but do we really believe it? People need the Spirit and the power of God. We can pray for His power, peace, patience and grace. Jesus does not ask us to do things that are impossible for us. He would not set us up for failure.

Our guest pastor spoke on the blessing and necessity of deliverance in the church. Satan tries to separate us from God. John 10: 10, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy..” Jesus wants to bring us full freedom. “...I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” None of us like to struggle but oftentimes we do not think there is another way. If we come from a family that has addictions, anxiety, depression, obesity, etc we tend to make it ours but it does not have to be. Amen! The power to be set free is with Jesus Christ and with willing participants. We all have the same Holy Spirit in us -no matter our age, no matter our past. It is possible to not live in fear, anxiety or the lie of shame. Deliverance can bring physical healing.

Deliverance is a ministry of authority and power, not force, given to the church. We all need Christ’s healing. Luke 14: 21-22, “When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own house, his possessions are safe until someone even stronger attacks and overpowers him, strips him of his weapons, and carries off his belongings.” We need Christ to guard us and He wants to!
