Romans 8: 31, "If God is for us, who can be against us?" I asked God to be all over that situation. I kept remembering God would not bring me this far to leave me. I would tell God how hurt I was and one day He told me, "I saw too." This sounds crazy but I had not thought of that. Of course God was there. He knew the truth.

God doesn't send these things to us but He sometimes allows them to happen. That is how we grow in our faith and build our trust in Him! He always brings good from bad for those who love Him. Romans 8: 28, "And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose." God is faithful. He can heal wounds we think will never heal. He can transform that time into something beautiful! Psalm 27: 5, "For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; In the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock." I just had to trust!

Eventually, I trusted that God saw it all and He would fight my battles. I began saying, at every thought, "I trust You, God!" There was a day I had to go do something I did not feel I had the courage to do. I told God my feelings during my prayer time and had my devotional. What did my devotional say? "Go and hold your head high!" Those very words! That month I kept praising God, "I am so much stronger than I thought! Thank You, God! I know where my help comes from! My help comes from the Lord!"
