I Believe He Held The Plane

Mike and I were running to make our connecting flight but when we got there they had not boarded. They were running late and just now cleaning the plane. God had held the plane for us! As soon as we got our seat the crew asked if a doctor was on board. The gentleman beside of me stood up and he tended to a man who was having a heart attack. The man was alone but they called his wife and told her he was on his way to the hospital. God held that plane so that man would not be in the air, away from home having a heart attack.

The surgeon sitting beside of me works and volunteers with Samaritan Purse's disaster relief. He has an amazing life and shared what a huge platform he has through medical relief. After an hour, before we took off the captain announced that we were honored to have Sargent on the plane with us being brought to his final resting place. We were asked to remain seated when we landed until the military escort deplaned. I watched the Color Guard and the family wait by the hearse. What an emotional day this had been but God was all over it!

Psalm 16: 8, "I know the Lord is always with me. I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me." I know God is always with me but do I really believe that? No. There are times I am too focused on fear or worry that I don't focus on Him and that is when I lose my faith. 1 Peter 5: 7, "Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you." When we do this and trust God we can watch Him work! When I asked God to come into my heart He did! He lives there! He has been so gracious to me in every season of my life and never let go of me. He set you and I apart for His purpose before we were born. We can walk in the knowledge that He is with us and His presence makes us unshakable! Walk in that Truth!
