He Corrected My Vision

While praying, intentionally, for someone to feel God's presence and for them to have discernment, God brought a revival to me, moving in my life in a mighty way. God reminded me Who and Whose I am, that He is still in charge and that nothing is wasted.

Sometimes, without realizing it, we find ourselves wanting to please people instead of God. If we please God, this should please the people that matter to us. We answer to God, over our spouse, over our family, over our boss, over our coworkers, over our church, over our significant other and over our friends. We are not to put anyone or anything above God! Exodus 20: 3, "You shall have no other gods before me."

Things change, plans change and people change but God never changes. He will keep His Word. He keeps His promises no matter what the world says. He has the best plans for us and no one and no thing can stop that. Jeremiah 29: 11, "'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'"

Even if you have to go through tough times, God is still in charge. These things will not be wasted, He uses them all. Romans 8:28, "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." How do I know this? Because I have watched Him work and He is faithful beyond belief! Even the things that broke my heart, corrected my vision. Thank You, God, for correcting my vision and helping me keep my focus on You!

"Worry is a conversation you have with yourself about things you cannot change. Prayer is a conversation you have with God about things He can change!"
