We all have different happy places whether it is the beach, lake, river, mountains, woods, a state park, etc. If you can walk to your happy place every day, I think you should go every day! There are so many things to be grateful for in God's Creation! Don't save for tomorrow when you can go today. Take a praise break today because you may not be able to tomorrow! Enjoy and live today! Be still and enjoy God's creation. Psalm 46: 10, "He says, 'Be still, and know that I am God...'"

As I said recently, I believe God speaks to us through His creation in the most tangible ways. When I look at the ocean, the pounding waves, the sunsets, the stars or listen and watch thunder and lightning, I am in awe. The more we see God's wonders, the more we know they are gifts from Him. They did not make themselves.

I found this information: "If the electromagnetic force in atoms were weakened by a mere 4 percent, then the sun would immediately explode (the diproton would have a bound state, which would increase the solar luminosity by a factor of 1018). If it were stronger, there would be fewer stable atoms. If the protons were 0.2 percent heavier, they would decay into neutrons unable to hold on to electrons, so there would be no stable atoms around. If the proton-to-electron mass ratio were much smaller, there could be no stable stars, and if it were much larger, there could be no ordered structures such as crystals and DNA molecules." It is perfect!!

Not only is our universe wonderfully made but God made so much beauty that we get to enjoy. Whether a flower in the yard, a tree budding, a bird singing, a beautiful butterfly or brightly colored leaves on a tree, we know that our Creator is an artist Who gave us these things to enjoy. He cares about us more than those things. Matthew 6: 26, "Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?" He loves us so much and wants us to enjoy His great wonders! It is not how much we have but how much we enjoy that makes us grateful. Go into creation and get grateful!

It is not happy people who are thankful. It is thankful people who are happy!
