Gone With The Wind

Growing up I spent a lot of time on Sea Dawn, our sailboat. When the winds were changing things got a bit stressful and Dad would yell for us to duck so the boom could adjust towards the wind, moving us forward. Then it was smooth sailing, things were calm and peaceful.

I watched a video, “Revival: A Wind From Elsewhere” by Jentezen Franklin. Pastor Franklin was referring to the press conference in Los Angeles, CA about there being no solution to the pollution! He said a wind from elsewhere could be the solution to pollution…to our pollution. Pollution shows up as hatred, prejudice, jealousy, shame and guilt in our soul. The Holy Spirit (wind) can blow that pollution to the sea. We all need the Holy Spirit to sweep through our self, our home, our neighborhood, our city, our state, our nation and our world. The wind can cleanse hearts and minds of addiction, shame, guilt, unforgiveness, etc. John 3:8, “The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”

God showed Ezekiel a valley of dry bones. Ezekiel 37:9-10, “Also He said to me, ‘Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath, ‘Thus says the Lord God: ‘Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live.’ So I prophesied as He commanded me, and breath came into them, and they lived, and stood upon their feet, an exceedingly great army.’” Dry, dead bones, stood upon their feet! Maybe you think you will never get back on your feet again. Counselors, people nor money can do it but a wind from elsewhere can! That wind has all the provision we need! We need to raise our sails so we can catch the wind that will move us forward!
