At the last minute Mike and I decided to go eat lunch. It was unusual that we were both home and both wanted to be "bad". We were eating when a family, vacationing here, sat by us and as God would have it, realized that Mike grew up near their hometown. I asked what church they attended and the gentleman said, "funny you would ask. I am the worship pastor..." Then we talked about my ministry and how I had been wanting to go to that area. Later, I received an email from him, saying, "I believe it was a providential meeting." He will be getting back with me to schedule. God had surely showed off! Ephesians 3: 20, "Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us..."

As I continue to grow in my faith I amazed at what God does. I had been worrying about booking dates with churches for Hope in Him, conferences and retreats. I could not understand how I was going to do this. I was not trusting God that HE would take care of it. We don't have to try to make things happen. We just have to trust Him that He has poured His favor on us. He will line the right people up for whatever we need. Whether it is a job, teacher, doctor, whatever, He will bring it. Proverbs 3: 5, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart,

And lean not on your own understanding...." God continues to show me that I don't have to try to make things happen. I have to do my part and He will pour His favor on me and line the right people up. All we have to do is be obedient and trust!
