God Was There & In Charge

My prayers were many and I don't remember all the specifics but I do remember praying very specifically for several things. I had been called to the consultation room to tell me that my daughter's lungs had collapsed and they were trying to find a surgeon to do a procedure. I remember asking God to take care of her and let her be ok. I thanked Him for being in that room and asked that everyone in that room KNOW God was in there and in charge! I asked the Holy Spirit to blow through there showing all that they were witnessing a miracle. I asked God to bring the right people to my Sarah right then. Proverbs 3: 5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."

A man came to tell me I could see Sarah. I fell apart and fell in his arms telling him I had prayed that everyone KNOW God was there and in charge! He said, "oh, God WAS in that room! It was all God!" He went on to tell me how traumatic it had been. I asked what he does because he was not dressed like anyone else. He said, "I am a paramedic. I was just walking by and saw they needed help!" I said, "God sent you! I asked Him to send in the right people!"

When I got in the PACU, nurses were hugging me and telling me how traumatic things had been and that they were all still so shocked. Later Sarah told me she could not breathe and the anesthesiologist did not believe her, saying it was pressure on her chest from surgery. Her blood pressure had dropped and they told her they were doing all they could when she asked if she would die. She could hear the noises from the machines and everyone yelling, "stay with us." A resident doctor came in and stood by Sarah, she took charge and ordered a cardiac work up to be done. She prayed with Sarah and put one of the chest tubes in.

The resident came and visited and said she was not supposed to be there. She was walking by and saw they needed help! Chills! Thank You, Jesus, for hearing our cries and being in charge! Psalm 18: 30, "As for God, his way is perfect: The LORD’s word is flawless; he shields all who take refuge in him."
