God Was All Over It

On the fifth day in the hospital I was told, "you know the pathology report rarely comes back clear!" At the same time, the doctor's beeper went off and I was left alone. God sent an angel. It was the nurse manager I had met a week prior at a restaurant. Mike had not been able to go with me to meet my plastic surgeon so when I saw him at a restaurant I asked if I could introduce him to my husband. He and his wife sat down and visited and before he left he said the manager over the hospital was there and she would come meet me. Later I heard, "I hear a VIP is coming and I'm going to take care of her." It was her and God was answering prayers!

The news had me sobbing and she was so compassionate and stayed with me. Mike had just left and Mom was coming but I did not have the heart to tell her. All I could do was go to the Great Comforter for peace. A few nights later, at home, my surgeon called at 10pm and wanted Mike and I on speaker. "I have never been giddy over a pathology report until now. This is nothing but a miracle. Your pathology report is clean and we never see this! I was too excited to wait until morning!" God was all over it! Another answered prayer!

Months later I was asked to come talk to a lady about my hospital stay. It was a conference room full of people in suits, not just her! I was mortified but shared my testimony. Most of the table shed tears because of God's grace and mercy! They asked if would do a photo shoot and share my story for breast cancer. I said only if it stays MY story which includes God and eastern medicine. I believe God healed me and sent me this team. I was able to give God the glory through magazines and newspapers. I was on billboards, websites and all over the hospital elevators and walls! God was all over it! I became friends with them, one in particular, who asked lots of questions about my faith and began growing in hers. Months later she went to spend eternity with her Heavenly Father. Even in the things we don't understand, God wastes nothing! "Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us..." Ephesians 3: 20 Thanks be to God!
