God's Always Got It

I was tying up loose ends up with the upcoming women's retreat. I happened to mention everything being on go when I was told someone would not be able to help. I got ready to panic but I said, God, if this is of you, like Pastor Barry said, I will not have to jerk or jump. That evening I got an email that the musician would not be available. God, I know You've got this so I am NOT jerking or jumping. Satan was trying to get me upset. Jesus said in John 14:27, “Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated, disturbed and upset.” That’s a hard choice for me!

Within five minutes I had the name and number of a cook team to call who I had previously met. Within days I had a kitchen team and three menu choices for each meal and they are available for next three retreats! Within days I had the music taken care of and we were thrilled with our decision and it will be easier than anything we would have imagined...for future retreats! Ephesians 3: 20, "Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us..." Why am I always surprised? He's always got it!

Proverbs 3: 5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths." Thank You, God! I just needed to trust You! This is Your ministry and You know what You are doing and will guide me. Let me just get out of the way and follow Your lead!
