God Always Leads To Victories

My hair had begun "hurting", just as predicted, right before it began to fall out so I cut my long hair short. My nephew and niece had just turned 3 and 5 and they spent one night a week eating dinner at my house and they took turns each week spending the night. I could not let them be scared of me. I had them come over and gave them the scissors to cut my hair. Then I gave them an electric razor and they gave me a Mohawk, dots, zigzags and we had so much fun! The final was my "G.I. Jill" buzzcut which I actually loved. What could have been a difficult, sad, scary night was one that still makes me smile! Thanks be to God!

We are told to consider it joyful when we fall. James 1: 2-3, "My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience." Most important accomplishments in life happen because of perseverance. We can persevere when we believe our God does not change and we can trust His Word. The gift of the Holy Spirit, in us, helps us to stand up under trials and persevere. God strengthens us with courage and endurance. Isaiah 41: 10, "I will strengthen you and help you..."

2 Corinthians 2: 14 (AMP), "But thanks be to God, Who in Christ always leads us in triumph [as trophies of Christ’s victory] and through us spreads and makes evident the fragrance of the knowledge of God everywhere..." God always leads us to victories! When we know this and believe it, we can trust God during the hard times. We want to spread God's goodness in our life. It is dark in this world and we need to shine His light! We have all been through something that could help someone else. It is not going to be a platform full of preachers that is going to get the job done. God needs you and me! He has called us all into ministry!

Whatever you are going through, thank God for the hard times because that is when we grow. Watch the glory of God come through in you thanks to God's grace, love, and Providence!
