Found A Treasure I Already Had

I love fashion and I enjoy putting outfits and accessories together. I also love to decorate homes. I have done both for others and I always tell them the best part when decorating, you or your home, is that you already have what you need. Just clear out and start over!

The same is true in our spiritual life. We need to clear out the clutter so we can see what we have already been given. If we don't believe what Jesus has done for us or that we are worthy or forgiven, the devil knows he has us. God tells us that we have enough. Luke 9: 13, "He replied, 'You give them something to eat.' They answered, 'We have only five loaves of bread and two fish—unless we go and buy food for all this crowd.'" They fed 5000, not counting the women, with five loaves of bread and two fish that Jesus had blessed! They were all satisfied! We have been given all we need. How are you using what God has entrusted you with?

Jesus wants us to be with Him. When we are finally with Him we are told in Revelation 21:4, "He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." Never again will we be separated from Him. Romans 8: 39, "He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." We will always be with Him! 1 Thessalonians 4: 17, "...And so we will be with the Lord forever." This is the everlasting, never ending treasure we have been given. Treasure this treasure!
