Favor Poured On Us

Our house was for sale, in a bad economy but I had prayed that God would be all over this decision. One day someone came to our house for a showing and said there was a peace about the house that they loved. They bought the house. Thank You, God! While I was amazed, I was not shocked! The King of Kings calls us His children and that sets us apart. His favor lets us stand out to others, showing them what God can do! God wants us to stand out so that people will want what we have. He wants people to see a distinction.
Scripture shows us that even in times of famine the righteous will have plenty. We have a supply line that never runs out! Psalm 37: 19, "In times of disaster they will not wither; in days of famine they will enjoy plenty." Acts 10: 34, "Then Peter began to speak: 'I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism.'" Romans 2: 11, "For God does not show favoritism." We have all been offered God's greatest favor - eternal life. He wants no one to perish. 2 Peter 3: 9, "The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance."
Since the moment we were born again, God was pouring favor on our behalf and He continues to do that. 2 Chronicles 16: 9, "For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him..." Having God's favor does not mean that we are exempt from trials and tribulations. Psalm 5:12 says, “For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; with favor You will surround him as with a shield.” (NKJV) The righteous are the born again child of God that serves Him.
When God grants you His favor, nothing can stop the blessings He has in store.
