Exceedingly Abundantly Above

I love how people share what God has done in their life and you know everything had to line up just right for it to happen. How many times have I looked back in my life and seen how things lined up? It was God's divine interventions that worked it all out. We could not do that.

I think about Peter walking on the water towards Jesus. I think about Jesus changing the water into wine. Jesus raised the widow's son from the dead. Jesus stilled the storm. Jesus made the paralyzed man walk. Jesus raised the ruler's daughter from the dead. Jesus opened the eyes of two blind men. Jesus healed an invalid man. Jesus fed at least 5000 people with only five loaves of bread and two fish. Jesus cured a deaf and mute man. Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead. He filled the disciples net full of fishes. He split the Red Sea. AND HE ROSE FROM THE DEAD! He can surely take care of some things for us!

I am reminded of the everyday miracles such as pregnancies, births, our bodies, the sunrise, sunsets, stars, oceans, seeing a flower come from a seed, death, and so many other things. We should expect great things. When I see how God has worked in my life I know He always does abundantly exceedingly above what I expect. That is why I tell you I no longer ask for specifics I just ask God to show off. As I have said before, I do not mean that disrespectfully. I KNOW that He can do things so much better than anything I can imagine. Lamentations 3: 25, "The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him."

I have some things that I am thanking God for handling. I believe He is already handling it in a better way than I can imagine. Isaiah 55: 8-9, "'For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,' declares the Lord. 'As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.'" Expect great things! Matthew 19 26, "Jesus...said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."
