The Oxford dictionary defines evangelism as, "the spreading of the Christian gospel by public preaching or personal witness." One of my top three spiritual gifts is evangelism. I have people ask me, often, why or how can I share my stories. It's easy, how can I not share what God has done for me? He has been so so good to me!

Jesus told us in Mark 16: 15, "He said to them, 'Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.'" This does not have to be scary. We don't have to quote scripture - that might scare someone off! All we have to do is share what God has done in our life. Satan's main weapon is fear. 2 Timothy 1: 6-8, "For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands. For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline. So do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord or of me his prisoner. Rather, join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God."

It is not enough to know or believe the Gospel. We must GO and share the Good News! Ask God to give you the power to share the Gospel. As Reverend Shane Bishop says, "this is not my truth or your truth - it's the TRUTH! People can accept or reject this news but they cannot modify it. Ezekiel 3: 18, "When I say to a wicked person, ‘You will surely die,’ and you do not warn them or speak out to dissuade them from their evil ways in order to save their life, that wicked person will die for their sin, and I will hold you accountable for their blood." All we have to do is share and God will do the rest. We are not responsible for the outcome!
