Disarmed, Disabled & Defeated

I am sure all of you get those annoying telemarketing calls, daily. My most frequent one asks for Doris every time. One day I was so mad I told them that Doris had died and please not call anymore! I did this because I can remember how hurt my Granny would be after my Granddaddy died and people called for him. Or sent mail. She would be so upset and I would feel so sorry for her. Well, these people that asked for Doris did not feel bad! They continue to call. The other frequent call I get is that my computer has a problem they need to fix. The last time I told the guy I am sure God is sad that he is making a living scamming people. He just stayed quiet and listened so I kept talking. I told that Jesus still loves Him and would provide another job. He stayed quiet so I continued on with the plan of Salvation. He kept listening and when I was finished I told Him I was hanging up and not to call back unless He wants to talk about Jesus. He has not called back! I am sure he hung up and laughed at me. Why do we get so mad? Because we know it is a scam! These people want us to believe untruths. Because we recognize the call for what it is we block those numbers.

Do you ever feel a spirit of heaviness over you? These feelings are not from God! It is from the devil. He wants you to think you are not worthy. You are a failure. Remember you have power in the name of Jesus Christ. You must say, "In Jesus' name, I resist you Satan." Reject that spirit of heaviness that Satan tries to put on you. You can tell Satan that you are not going to let him put heaviness on you. You are going to resist him because you have Jesus Christ in your heart. If you are carrying guilt or shame remind him that Jesus' blood cleaned your past. All of your guilt is gone. He cannot bring your past up to you anymore. It is gone. Even God does not remember it. Hebrews 8: 12, "For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more." I recommend saying these things out loud because YOU need to hear it.

Isaiah 61: 3, "...and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair." God gives us a garment of praise instead of the spirit of heaviness. God does not want us to have a spirit of heaviness any time. We can ask God daily for his garment of praise on us instead of a spirit of heaviness. .

If Satan is filling your mind with negative thoughts? Do not listen. Remember that faith and worry cannot be in the same thoughts. Hear the gospel. Isaiah 43: 1-2, "Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze."

Because of Jesus Christ, Satan cannot hurt you. You have the power of Jesus Christ on your side.....use it! God is fighting for you and He can overturn Satan's plans for evil. Revelation 17: 14, "They will wage war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will triumph over them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings—and with him will be his called, chosen and faithful followers.” Don't let the daily battle with Satan get you down. The victory has already been won and you can tell Satan that again! Jesus won that battle on our behalf. He disarmed, disabled and defeated every power of darkness that threatens us.

Romans 15: 4, "For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope." Again, everything we need to know is in Scripture and it will give us encouragement and hope!

You do not listen to scams over the phone - do not listen to this negativity. Block it with Scripture!
