"The most powerful move you can make is no move at all. The other person is hoping that you say something ugly so they can put it all on you. If you have to look at it like it is a trap and don't do it. You don't need an apology to validate your feelings! Don't try to show them or make them understand how they hurt you. Walking away is the best response you can have. Instead of trying to fix them, make your own course correction. Head towards peace of mind!"
How often do we need to walk away and head towards peace of mind? It's human nature for us to look at our feelings instead of Truth. Our feelings are dangerous and fragile props. Only God's Truth is stable and unchanging. These truths can hold us up when our world is falling apart, no matter what is going on.
Isaiah 26 focuses on the strength God gives His people so we can accomplish His purpose.
Isaiah 26: 3, "You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you." John Piper says, “There is no power in the universe that can stop God from fulfilling His totally good plans for you.” Job also said this in Job 42:2, "I know that you can do all things; no purpose of yours can be thwarted." God is always doing more than we know - good stuff!
