A Joyful New Year

If there is one thing I have learned this season it is about joy. We can have joy regardless of our circumstances! Joy is an all-knowing that God is in control. So as I think of 2022 I pray it will be a joyous year. I remember what my pastor says, God is not only Great but He is GOOD! All the time!

Let’s remember, God wants good for us. God is compassionate. God wants to guide our path. We are to look ahead and leave 2020 behind! And we are not to fear the future! God never changes. Hebrews 13: 8, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” We need the Truth, God’s Word, which never changes. Joshua 21:45, “Not one of all the Lord’s good promises to Israel failed; everyone was fulfilled.”

God's Plans for our future are good!

"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope." Jeremiah 29: 11

God's compassion is new every morning!

"Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness. 'The Lord is my portion,' says my soul,

'Therefore I hope in Him!'” Jeremiah 29: 11

Seek God for the Future.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. Proverbs 3: 5-6

Look Ahead, Not Behind

"Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus." Philippians 3: 13-14

Do Not Fear The Future!

"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God..." Philippians 4: 6

Wishing you and yours a very joyful new year in 2022!
