“Cupcakes are just muffins that believed in miracles.” I love that! I never go that extra step to make food pretty but I love when others do! My backyard is just a yard that believed in miracles! When I look at it, I see miracles. Some plants, that I thought were dying, have begun blooming this fall. I watch the beautiful orange, yellow, red, green, gold colors of the trees. I love watching the birds and butterflies enjoy my yard. Miracles are all around us, we just have to be in tune to them. Mark 9: 23, “‘If you can?’ said Jesus. ‘Everything is possible for one who believes.’”

I read that every miracle in the Bible started with a problem. I began thinking about many of the miracles in the Bible. The virgin birth was a miracle that started with the problem - we needed a Savior. Jeremiah 32: 27, “I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?” Nothing we are going through is impossible with God. Luke 18: 27, “Jesus replied, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.” When we are facing the impossible, we lean on God, trusting Him. Matthew 19: 26, “Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Whatever you have going on, remember, God is the God of might and miracles! When God steps in, miracles happen. Let’s praise God and create an atmosphere for miracles! A grateful heart is a magnet for miracles!

A grateful heart changes us because it changes our attitude and our focus. A grateful heart brings contentment and peace. We remember Who is in charge and Who and Whose we are. There is power in a thankful heart. Albert Einstein said, "There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle."
