NOW

Through the tough times I have learned that worship is warfare. I also know that the first thing I should do when things get tough is praise God. Yes, I know that but I am still trying to make it a habit. It is hard!

We should praise God the very second that we don't feel like praising God! That is when we need it! Those voices sometimes tell us to praise God the least when we need to praise Him the most. I heard someone say that a psalmist praises their way to victory, knowing it will come. I love that. 0Praise your way to victory! When we praise that sends the first blow to the enemy! 1 Thessalonians 5: 16-18, "Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus."

Can you think of something recently that you need to thank God for? Really thank Him for? I'm talking about a tough time. Go ahead and thank Him for taking care of things because that will lighten your load. Matthew 11: 28-30, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." The more we do this the more we will be able to tarry - wait with expectation - until we see the Light at the end of the tunnel.

I sometimes find myself excited about what is going to be at the end of the road instead of stressing over the issue. That is a gift from God when we trust Him to handle things. I also believe Ephesians 3: 20, "Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us..." He WILL do things better than anything we can imagine! We just have to trust! And don't wait, thank Him NOW!
